A story

UNEXPECTED

It was a pleasant day with clear beams of sun and the pale bluish cotton like clouds which spread all over the sky. The city  was same as usual. There were vehicles running to catch the oxygen pills, without caring anybody. There were people going for their jobs, students were in a hurry to catch the school bus and so on. Some teenagers were roaming here and there. There were a set of girls coming across, and one among them who looked like a study geek was Sravanya (actually she is not). Her friends called her Sravvs. This is the story of Sravvs.

(The story will continue from Sravvs)

"OH!!! Its English exam today. What are we going to do? Teacher told that a 7 mark 'diary writing' and an 8 mark 'stunning experience in your life’ is sure for exam. Diary writing is just a piece of cake. But which experience will I write?..That teacher is so strict in paper valuation".
Leah is my best friend from 3rd standard and we are like Siamese twins. She is really funny. I asked her about the exam.

'Leah???Do you know anything?'
Leah replied. 'What???????Exam???? Ha...Ha...Me??’This is Leah's problem. She never takes anything seriously.
'Are u sick?!!!? I am asking you seriously.'
"Let it go Sravvs....I will write something like a plane crash in final destination movie...that’s all...”

Leah was confident about that. I was figuring about something like that before reaching school. Leah is a special type. She never studies anything so hard, but she will score higher marks than me in languages. I was sure that she will write something far better than me.

We ran the cycle through the footpath. I saw some little girls running with their school bags. I saw another little girl holding her mom’s hand, waiting to cross the road. I could guess that she will be in LKG. A bus was coming, and it seemed like yellow. I thought it will be her school bus. Her mother waved me her hands signaling to check whether it was her daughter’s school bus. I nodded my head.   We continued cycling and I again sunk into English period thoughts.

“ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
I heard a screaming and looked back.Oh my God!! It was a heartbreaking scène. The vehicle which I thought like school bus was a huge truck and it hit the little girl. Her water bottle was rolling on the road. I was shocked and felt like a flash blanked  my inner mind. Her mother was standing like a statue and appeared so pale. I couldn't forget her face. Leah forced me to leave the place soon as the crowd was running to the spot and it was getting late to the class.

I didn't utter a single word till we reached the school. I had a bleeding heart dying to forget what I saw. The bell rang and English teacher stepped in to the class. She had given us the question papers. Leah offered me water but it was impossible for me to even breathe. I saw the first question of “write an experience that struck your mind in 120 words.”I couldn't write anything. The little girl was coming to my mind. My inner mind was haunting me. If I took a little more time to clarify that it was school bus I could have save a life. But it’s too late now..

I stared my first question and I know can't write anything.....
